The next talk in the trust programme of lectures will be Prominent Places: Prehistoric Ritual and Life on Mountains in the west of Ireland and will be held on Tuesday March 8.

An illustrated talk — The Story of an Original Clifden House — by Breandan O'Scannail, will be held on Thursday January 15 at The Atlantic Coast Hotel at 8pm.

This Westport Civic Trust illustrated talk will be given by the noted historian and archaeologist Michael Gibbons on Thursday March 26 at The Atlantic Coast Hotel at 8pm on the subject of the maritime history and archaeology of Connacht’s offshore Islands.
